This is Leo’s wife’s design. Her name is Luan and her face shape is based on a heart and her hair shape is based on a grandfather clock. Because a clock continues into the next day, but eventually will stop working. She continues to live but eventually she will grow old. 

 This is the first animatic I did and overall, I’m happy with it. I did this in about four days. Some of the time within those four days was spent figuring out how to have the backgrounds look and the character designs. I wrote the song too.

 

I designed these two for another animatic I did and I had the kid looking modern but also wanted to design him as if he and his grandpa were from the early 1900s.
